DAVID WEBB 1975 Cased Knoots Hoop Clips Earrings In Solid 18Kt Yellow Gold - A very rare and magnificent pair of vintage hoop clip earrings by David Webb, created in New York City circa 1975 and designed with the house’s signature bold, sculptural presence. Crafted in chased 18K yellow gold, the heavy knotted motif is finished with richly textured and hammered surfaces, enhanced by a beautiful aged patina that collectors prize in early Webb jewels. Fitted with comfortable hinged omega backs for secure clip wear (posts for pierced ears can be added if desired), the earrings are impressively substantial at 55.85 grams and measure 37 x 26 x 22mm. Both are stamped with maker’s marks and signed “©WEBB 18KT.” Condition: Very good conditions. All our diamonds and colored gemstones are naturally earth-mined.
