ANGELA CUMMINGS Studios Rare Geometric Spikes Clip Earrings In 18Kt Gold With Hematite - A beautiful and very rare pair of geometric clip-on earrings by Angela Cummings, created in 1984 as an homage to the legendary French designer Suzanne Belperron. Expertly crafted in solid 18K yellow gold with a refined brushed finish, each earring is set with an oval cabochon of polished gray hematite for a bold, sculptural contrast. Fitted with hinged French omega backs for secure clip wear (posts for pierced ears can be added if desired), the pair offers strong collector appeal, reflecting Cummings’ celebrated practice of drawing inspiration from iconic 20th-century women artists. The earrings measure 26 x 23.5mm, have a substantial combined weight of 37.8 grams, and are fully stamped and signed “CUMMINGS 1984 18 KT.” Condition: Very good conditions.
