ART DECO 1930 Cocktail Ring In Platinum With 3.07 Ctw In Diamonds And Rubies - A superb American Art Deco cocktail ring from the 1930s, crisply executed in a bold rectangular silhouette in solid platinum (electronically tested .900/.999) and finished with refined millegrain detailing throughout. The three-tiered design is set with 60 natural, earth-mined gemstones: four French carré-cut diamonds in the center (approx. 0.64 ctw, E/F color, VS clarity), framed by 32 European-cut round diamonds (approx. 0.75 ctw, F/G color, VS/SI clarity), plus two baguette diamonds at the sides (approx. 0.14 ctw, F/G color, VS/SI clarity). Completing the Art Deco geometry, 22 calibre French-cut Burmese rubies are channel-set in millegrain (approx. 1.54 ctw), delivering rich contrast and period-correct presence. The ring weighs 7.55 grams, measures 19 x 21mm, rises 6mm off the finger, is currently size 7 (easily sizable upon request), and includes a presentation jewelry box; condition is excellent with all stones secure. Condition: Very good conditions. All our diamonds and colored gemstones are naturally earth-mined. Any synthetic (lab-grown) stones will be clearly indicated in the description.
