Egyptian Revival Plique à Jour Enameled Horus Necklace In 18Kt Gold With Coral - The main focus part is the figure of a falcon with open wings in representation of the Egyptian god Horus. The necklace has been carefully crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished and brushed finishes and is accented with applications of inlaid glass enamel. The wings are worked out with the difficult enameling technique of Plique à Jour. Coral: Mounted in cords settings, with 12 round beads cuts of 4 mm carved from natural red coral, with a weight of about 4.80 carats. Weight: 36.20 Grams, (23.21 Dwt). Length Size: 17 Inches, (43 Cm). Measurements: The open-wings eagle is 46 mm by 50 mm (1.81 x 1.97 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the gold and signed, ”AD10 .750 GB”. Condition: Good vintage conditions. Upon Request, Auction House may provide an appraisal.
