TIFFANY & CO 1977 Elsa Peretti Carved Nephrite Jug Jar Bottle in 18Kt Gold - This is a very rare vintage jug jar necklace, created at the Tiffany Studios in New York City by Elsa Peretti, back in the 1977-78. This iconic model was one of Peretti's first designs for Tiffany and was conceived as a casual necklace with a free-form pendant in the shape of an open jar at its mouth. Beautifully carved from a single piece of natural Nephrite Green Jade and suspended with a 18 karats yellow gold twisted wire from a silk cord. Weight: 31.75 grams (20.35 Dwt). Measurements: The drop jug jar itself is 41 mm by 27 mm by 21 (1.62 x 1.06 x 0.83 Inches). Cord length: 34 Inches (86.4 Cm). Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the gold and signed in full, ”©TIFFANY & CO. 18KT PERETTI .750”. Condition: Very good conditions.
