Ed Wiener 1970 Sculptural Cocktail Ring In 18Kt Yellow Gold With Amethyst - Beautiful modernist unique art-piece, created in New York city back in the 1970's by the artist- goldsmith Ed Wiener. This sculptural one-of-a-kind ring was crafted in solid rich yellow gold of 18 karats, with hammered and textured finish. Mounted in the center in a bezel setting, with a sugarloaf cabochon cut (10.3 x 10.2 x 11.5 mm) of a natural Brazilian vivid purple amethyst of 7.45 carats. Has a total weight of 15.5 grams and the actual size is 6, sizeable. The top view measurements are 20 mm by 20 mm (0.79 x 0.79 Inch) and raise 12 mm over the finger. Stamped, with the Ed Wiener maker's mark, the hallmark for the assay of the gold and signed, ”ED WIENER 18K EW”. Condition: Very good conditions. Upon Request, Auction House may provide an appraisal.
