The tapered barrel and cap are constructed of white Meissen porcelain with platinum-plated fittings, including a clip and triple cap bands. The cap body features a hand-painted Meissen crossed swords logo in cobalt blue under the glaze. This model is a piston-filler, featuring an 18 karat gold medium (M) nib with rhodium plating. The central cap band is marked Montblanc - Meisterstuck. The pen is accompanied by its original white lacquered presentation box with an inset metal plaque marked Montblanc Masters for Meisterstuck Porcelain White, an outer black box with a corresponding manufacturer label, and a service guide booklet.
