Mission Style Oak Student Desk - Mission style student desk or library table constructed of quarter-sawn oak with a medium brown finish. The rectangular top sits over a fretwork-style apron. The desk features vertical spindle sides supporting two semi-circular lower shelves for book storage. The four legs terminate in slightly flared block feet, and the assembly is reinforced by an arched cross-stretcher featuring a central carved foliate medallion. The corners are adorned with wrap-around hand-hammered style brass or copper-alloy plates with a trifid foliate design, secured with pyramid-head tacks. Unsigned. 28 1/2” H x 30 1/2” W x 21” D.
