Pair of Water Buffalo Horn Eagle Relief Carvings - Pair of polished water buffalo (Bubalus bubalis) horns featuring relief-carved eagles in flight. The carvings utilize the natural tonal layering of the horn material to create contrast, with the dark outer surface giving way to lighter interior shades for feather detail and landscape elements. Each eagle is finished with inset small red bead eyes. The lower portion of each horn depicts a stylized landscape with clouds and textured landforms. The horns are mounted onto custom-shaped, light-colored hardwood bases featuring a smooth ogee-style profile. Marked on the underside of each base in black ink. 14” H x 4” W x 13 1/2” D. 11C
