The collection further includes The Federalist, along with works by James Joyce (Irish, 1882-1941), Oscar Wilde (Irish, 1854-1900), Robert Louis Stevenson (Scottish, 1850-1894), Sir Walter Scott (Scottish, 1771-1832), and Daniel Defoe (English, c. 1660-1731). The volumes are bound in full genuine leather of various colors including forest green, navy blue, burgundy, tan, and chocolate brown. Construction features hubbed spines with 22kt gold-stamped titles and intricate gilt-tooled decorative borders on the boards. Each book is finished with all edges gilt (AEG), smyth-sewn archival paper, and color-coordinating moiré silk endpapers with a matching silk ribbon bookmark.
