Sunburst Style Brooch and 8 Political and Novelty Pins with Decorative Tin - A large sunburst or headdress style brooch paired with an assortment of political and novelty pins contained in a decorative lithographed tin. The brooch features a crescent-shaped base with wirework filigree, small floral rosettes, and applied clusters of grapes with vine leaves. The outer border is composed of numerous flat, radiating metal rays with jagged tips. The pin mechanism on the verso is a horizontal pin with a simple C-clasp. The assorted pins include Soviet memorabilia featuring Mikhail Gorbachev, Vladimir Lenin, and Perestroika themes, alongside 1984 U.S. Presidential campaign pins for Mondale and Ferraro, a Ronald Reagan caricature pin, and a Heinz pickle magnet. Brooch: 3 1/4” x 4 7/8”. Largest pin: 1 3/4” diameter.
