Regency Burl Wood Octagonal Tea Caddy - Regency style tea caddy featuring an octagonal form constructed with burl wood veneers. The exterior displays a rich swirling grain pattern consistent with burl walnut or yew, accented by light-colored marquetry stringing along the edges. The front is centered by an inlaid bone escutcheon in a diamond shape. The hinged lid opens to a twin-compartment interior, each fitted with a removable burl-veneered lid topped with a brass ring pull. The underside of the main lid is lined with faded red paper. 4 1/2” H x 7 5/8” W x 4 1/2” D.
