Peter Benchley's Wool Fedora with Leather Hatband - Microfelt men's fedora-style hat constructed of 100% wool felt in a medium brown tone. The hat features a pinched crown with a center crease and two brass-toned ventilation grommets on each side. The medium-width brim is finished with a raw edge. The exterior is accented by a smooth dark brown leather hatband secured with a functional buckle on the side. The interior is finished with a brown leather sweatband featuring a small brown ribbon bow at the rear seam. A gold rectangular tag attached to the interior sweatband reads LARGE, WPL 4384, Made in U.S.A., 100% Wool. From the personal collection of Peter Benchley (American, 1940–2006), acclaimed author of Jaws, accomplished diver, and prominent advocate for ocean and shark conservation.
