Peter Benchley's Resistol Fur Felt Cowboy Hat - Resistol fur felt cowboy hat in the Cody style, finished in a light tan Silver Belly color. The hat is designed with a classic cattleman's crease crown and a wide brim, accented with a coordinating braided cord hat band finished with knotted ends. The interior is fitted with a champagne-colored satin lining and a dark brown leather sweatband. This example was originally retailed at Wild Bills in Vail, Colorado. The hat features a size 7 5/8 fit with the manufacturer's self-conforming interior construction designed to adapt to the wearer's head shape. Marked with a gold Resistol logo on the crown lining and stamped Resistol Self-Conforming Made in Texas, U.S.A. and Wild Bills Vail, CO on the sweatband. 6” H x 15” L x 14 1/2” W.
