Fred Harvey Commercial Grade Copper Stockpot with Wrought Iron Handles - Fred Harvey (American, 1835-1901) commercial grade copper stockpot. Dating to the early 20th century, this piece was manufactured for the Fred Harvey Company hospitality and restaurant services along the Santa Fe Railway line. The wrought heavy-gauge copper vessel features a tin-lined interior and a separate base plate attached with a reinforced band of copper rivets. Hardware consists of one long wrought iron handle and a D-shaped helper handle, both secured to the body with large copper rivets. Marked on the side Fred Harvey Main Kitchen. 12” H x 34” L (including handle) x 16 1/2” diameter. From the Woodstock, New York estate of music manager Albert Grossman, best known for managing artists including Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, The Band, and Peter, Paul and Mary.
