Signed Shoso Ink and Pigment on Paper 6 Panel Folding Screen - Japanese six-panel folding screen featuring a traditional mountain landscape in ink and wash with light pigments and gold leaf accents. The screen is mounted in a black lacquered wood frame joined by gilded metal hinges and finished with a silk brocade border. Signed in black ink on the far-left panel reading Shoso above a square red seal; the frame edge with a vertical paper label reading Katayama. 66” H x 144” W x 1/2” D. From the Woodstock, New York estate of music manager Albert Grossman, best known for managing artists including Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, The Band, and Peter, Paul and Mary.
