The page is surmounted by an illuminated headpiece featuring floral and foliate scrolling motifs in gold leaf, lapis blue, and red pigments. This central composition is set within a decorative block-printed border on salmon-colored paper, showing various animals including leopards or tigers amidst foliage. Sight: 9 1/2 x 6 in.
