Large Terracotta Earthenware Handled Globular Jar - Large earthenware handled globular jar with three small loop handles. The vessel is constructed of reddish-brown terracotta featuring a variegated, unglazed surface. The exterior exhibits naturalistic fire-clouding and mineral staining in variegated shades of charcoal, dark green, and ochre. Unsigned. 17 1/2” H x 16” diameter. From the Woodstock, New York estate of music manager Albert Grossman, best known for managing artists including Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, The Band, and Peter, Paul and Mary.
