Group of Antique Primitive Iron Copper and Wood Hearth and Kitchenware - Group of 22 antique primitive iron, copper, and wood hearth and kitchen utensils including a Marshalltown hand float. The collection includes fireplace equipment such as a log cradle, a small rusted kettle, a Betty style oil lamp with a curved hanging rod, spring tongs, and a pair of wick trimmer scissors with a rectangular box. Long-handled utensils include ladles and skimmers with solid and perforated bowls, a wire skimmer, a flat-bladed peel, two forks, and a spatula, most featuring hand-forged circular hanging loops. A circular copper pan features a perforated lid and brass handle with a latch mechanism. Additional pieces include a wooden block pulley, a small hammer or adze, and a single horseshoe. The hand float is stamped on the metal plate MARSHALLTOWN. The remaining items are unsigned. Largest piece (pipe kiln): 8” H x 13” W x 6” D. From the Woodstock, New York estate of music manager Albert Grossman, best known for managing artists including Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, The Band, and Peter, Paul and Mary.
