Vladimir Horowitz Framed Typed Letter Signed and Signed Photograph - Vladimir Horowitz (Russian-American, 1903-1989). A framed autograph display comprising a one-page typed letter signed and a signed portrait photograph. The letter, dated September 23, 1974, is on personal stationery addressed to Ken Stuart, Editorial Director at Schirmer Books. The text provides a polite refusal of an autobiography proposal. The black and white portrait photograph shows the artist in a tuxedo and bowtie. Both pieces are professionally presented in forest green and gold double matting within a gold-finished frame. Signatures of Vladimir Horowitz appear on the lower right of the letter in blue ink and in the lower margin of the photograph with the date 1984.
