Arts and Crafts Quartersawn Oak Mission Style Drop Front Desk - An Arts and Crafts period drop-front desk constructed from solid quarter-sawn oak. The slanted writing surface opens on hinges to reveal an interior gallery containing four vertical cubbies, two horizontal compartments, and a central small drawer with a wood pull. The desk features two full-width drawers below the writing surface, each fitted with two patinated metal D-shaped pulls mounted on rectangular backplates. The structural frame consists of four square-section legs joined by a lower display shelf. The side panels are accented with three decorative vertical slats. A single skeleton key for the locking mechanisms is included. The back panel is constructed of a secondary wood. 40 1/4” H x 36 1/4” W x 17 1/2” D.
