Jack Levine Two Signed Patriotic Allegorical Lithographs - Two original lithographs by American Social Realist artist Jack Levine (1915-2010), both depicting a patriotic allegorical scene featuring two female figures, one of whom is a personification of the Statue of Liberty. The first work is a color lithograph utilizing a palette of red, blue, and black; it is inscribed in pencil ”To Igal, ” signed ”Jack Levine, ” and dated ”31 Oct 1973” along the lower edge. The second work is a monochrome version of the same composition, inscribed ”Artist's Proof” in pencil at the lower left and signed ”J Levine” at the lower right.
