American Mahogany Roll-Top Pedestal Desk with Built-in Waterbury Clock - American mahogany roll-top pedestal desk with built-in mahogany clock. Early 20th century. The interior is fitted with various storage options including pigeonholes, several small drawers with brass knobs, a brass label holder, and a central lockable compartment. Inset into one of the interior door panels is a circular clock, marked Waterbury Clock Co. USA on the face. The lower section consists of two pedestals, each containing three drawers fitted with recessed brass pulls and one pull-out writing slide. The square legs are finished with brass caps. The drawers demonstrate machine-cut dovetail joinery. 44” H x 72” W x 35 1/2” D.
