Near Pair of Limehouse Lamp Co. Brass Carriage Lamps - Near pair of brass carriage lamps manufactured by Limehouse Lamp Co. Each lamp is constructed from brass and features a large circular convex glass front lens, beveled rectangular side panels, and a small red glass jewel lens at the rear. The upper portion of each lamp consists of a decorative pierced chimney topped with a shaped finial. The base of the body terminates in a long, tapered cylindrical stem. One lamp has been converted for electrical use and contains an internal threaded light socket and wiring. An oval embossed brass maker tag on one lamp identifies the manufacturer as the Limehouse Lamp Co. 24” H x 8” W x 8” D. From the Woodstock, New York estate of music manager Albert Grossman, best known for managing artists including Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, The Band, and Peter, Paul and Mary.
