After Francois Rémond, Pair of French Neoclassical Style Gilt and Patinated Bronze Candelabra Lamps - After Francois Rémond (French, 1747-1812). Pair of French Neoclassical style electrified candelabra lamps featuring patinated bronze female caryatid figures wearing classical drapery. Each figure stands upon a stone pedestal. The figures hold aloft central gilt metal standards that branch into six foliate-scroll arms and one central light, all currently fitted with white plastic candle-form sleeves. The lamps are configured as a mirrored pair, with the caryatids standing in symmetrical counterposed positions. Both appear unsigned. 33 1/2” H x 13” W x 14” D.
