Gilt Bronze Mounted Porcelain Pedestal with White Onyx Top - Gilt bronze mounted porcelain pedestal with a white onyx top. The porcelain body features two hand-painted reserve panels, one of which is signed C. Rochette at the base. The primary panel depicts a classical female figure with a putto among clouds and flowers, while the opposing panel displays a musical trophy with a quiver, wind instruments, sheet music, and floral garlands. The porcelain ground is finished in cobalt blue with raised gilt foliate scrolls, lattice motifs, and masks. A circular white onyx top with natural veining is secured within a gilt bronze laurel-leaf rim. The pedestal rests on a cast gilt bronze base with four acanthus-leaf scrolled feet. 37 1/2” H x 11 1/2” W x 11 1/2” D.
