Pierre d'Avesn for Daum Nancy Art Deco Acid-Etched Glass Vase - This Art Deco vase is produced by Daum Nancy and was designed by Pierre d'Avesn circa 1930. The vessel is constructed of thick-walled, mold-blown glass in a translucent smoked amber color. The exterior body features a repeating geometric pattern of textured, acid-etched chevrons and diamonds set against a polished, translucent ground. The lower edge of the body is signed with a wheel-engraved mark: DAUM followed by the Lorraine cross, NANCY, and FRANCE. 8” H x 7.5” diameter. Location: 14C
