Royal Dux Bohemia Art Nouveau Porcelain Poppy Vase - A large Royal Dux Bohemia porcelain vase designed in the Art Nouveau style. The vessel features an organic, slender form rising from a lobed, bulbous base to a reticulated neck with a basket-weave pattern and a pierced rim. The body is decorated with relief-molded poppy flowers, buds, and elongated veined leaves. The piece is finished in a matte satin glaze of cream and beige tones with dark gray-green shading within the recesses to highlight the molding. Twin handles and flower centers are accented with hand-applied gilding. Marked on the underside of the base. Height: 17 inches. 14B
