Pair of Victorian Empire Revival Mahogany Swan Neck Armchairs - This set comprises a pair of Victorian mahogany armchairs designed in the Empire Revival style. Each chair features a rectangular upholstered back panel set within a wooden frame with a slightly arched top rail. The horizontal armrests are terminated by prominent hand-carved swan-neck supports that flow into the front leg posts. The chairs are supported by stylized carved front feet and flared saber rear legs. The upholstery is a light blue and silver-gray damask fabric featuring a classical acanthus leaf and floral motif, finished with a coordinating blue gimp trim. 36” H x 23.5” W x 18” D.
