Antique Burl Wood and Ebonized Folding Harlequin Washstand - This antique mechanical folding washstand features a split-hinged top that opens outward to form two side wings, revealing an interior well. The center of the well contains a scalloped copper basin and a pull-up rectangular mirror. The exterior is decorated with highly figured burl wood veneers framed by ebonized wood moldings. The piece is supported by four ebonized cabriole legs terminating in scrolled feet. A single full-width drawer is located beneath the wash compartment, featuring burl wood inlay to match the upper sections. Folded: 32.5” H x 18.5” W x 19” D. Opened: 33.5” W.
