Victorian Cast Iron Aquarium on Dolphin Pedestal
Victorian cast iron aquarium or fish tank on associated figural pedestal. Cast iron and glass aquarium with spiral shell-form finials. Cast iron stand or pedestal with green and black paint with three mythological dolphins. Wear and patina losses throughout pedestal and aquarium. Light scratches, scuffs, and wear to glass. Remnants of glue on metal on top edges of aquarium. Rusting to iron on finials and edges of aquarium. Hole to casting underneath one section of molded base of dolphins. Aquarium is not attached to pedestal.
Aquarium: 30 1/4" W x 15 3/8" D x 18" H. 72 lbs. Pedestal: 20" W x 19" D x 42 1/2". H. 210 lbs.
