1954 Bulova President Watch & Capitol Case - A vintage estate 1954 men's Art Deco style mechanical wrist watch manufactured by Bulova. The model is a classic ”President” series timepiece featuring a gold-toned base metal bezel case highlighted by stepped, tiered accent lugs, measuring approximately 23mm wide by 26mm long (excluding crown and lugs). The cream colored dial displays applied gold-tone Arabic numerals, dagger hour indices, and a sub-second dial at the 6 o'clock position, stamped L4 Bulova on the reverse. The watch houses a high-grade 21-jewel manual-wind mechanical movement and is fitted with an era-correct 15.3mm wide Speidel stainless steel and gold-filled expansion bracelet. The timepiece is accompanied by its original 1950s Bulova golden plastic clamshell presentation display box embossed with a United States Capitol Building ”The President” motif; the interior fabric lining displays visible vintage age wear but remains fully intact, explicitly printed with the ”President,” ”21 Jewels,” and ”Bulova” retail designations.
