PORCELAIN MOCCA SERVICE FOR SIX FROM THE SWAN SERVICE.
Meissen.
Date: 20th c.
Maker/Designer: Model J.J Kaendler and J.F. Eberlein.
Technique: Porcelain, enriched in colours and gold.
Description: Shell structures in relief on all sides, two swans facing each other, swimming on a pond with reeds.
22 pieces in total. Consisting of:
1 mocha pot (height 18.5cm),
1 sugar bowl (height 7.5cm),
1 milk jug (height 9.5cm),
6 mocha cups,
6 saucers,
6 cake plates (Ø 16cm),
1 round serving plate (Ø 30cm).
Mark: Swords mark, painted blue under glaze, various cameo and painter numbers, model number: 55641.
