Bidspirit auction | A ”The Rescuers” Original Production

A ”The Rescuers” Original Production Cel. - (Disney, 1977) An original production cel of Madame Medusa from ”The Rescuers.” Animator Milt Kahl famously based the character's appearance on that of his ex-wife. Medusa has an image size of 7.75” x 8.5” on an 11” x 15” laminated cel. The entire matted piece measures 17.5” x 21.5”. The hand-painted art is in very good condition with bubbling from the lamination process, which does not affect the image. The matte exhibits creases and wear at the corners.
