A Snoopy Production Cel & Drawing with Lee Mendelson Signature. - (Mendelson Productions, 1960s-80s) An original production drawing and hand-painted cel of Snoopy cooking hot dogs from an Interstate Brands commercial, in a framed matte signed by Lee Mendelson. Along with creator Charles Schulz and Bill Melendez, Mendelson produced many of the most iconic Peanuts films and specials, including ”A Charlie Brown Christmas, ” ”A Boy Named Charlie Brown, ” and ”It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.” Mendelson signed the piece with a personalized dedication, dated March 23, 2012. Snoopy has an image size of 4.25” x 8” on a 9.5” x 11.5” visible cel and animation paper. The entire framed and matted piece measures 17.5” x 32.5”. The artwork is in very good condition with light wear from production use, while the frame displays in very good condition with light scratches and wear.
