A ”Watership Down” Original Large Format Opening Title Production Cel and Background. - (Cinema International Corporation, 1978) An original hand-painted cel and background setup from the opening credits of ”Watership Down.” This stunning multiplane camera shot is seen as the film's title treatment appears, and comes from the collection of the film's director, Martin Rosen. Rosen made use of a multi-plane camera for may of the movies key shots, including the opening title sequence, and the background and cels were produced in a larger format to facilitate the camera shots. The multi-layer cel and background elements measure 19.5” x 25”. The art is in very good condition with minor spots of paint loss and wear from production use.
