Bidspirit auction | A Collection of ”Total Recall”

A Collection of ”Total Recall” Storyboards and Prop Photos. - (Tri-Star, 1990) A collection of six hand-drawn storyboards and six photographs from production of the Arnold Schwarzenegger sci-fi classic ”Total Recall.” Accomplished in marker, the atmospheric storyboards include graphite production notes referring to Arnold's main character as ”Quail, ” a name which changed later in production to ”Quaid” to avoid comparisons to U.S. Vice President Dan Quayle. The photos show multiple angles of the teeth prosthetics worn by actor Mel Johnson Jr. as the scene-stealing Martian cabby Benny. Ranging in size from the 4” x 6” photos to the 8.25” x 11.75” storyboards, the production-used items display in good to very good condition with creases, wear, waviness, and moisture damage on the photos leading to areas of discoloration.
