A Complete Set of Kellogg's Pep Cereal Character Buttons. - (Kellogg's, 1945-47) A complete collection of 86 Kellogg's Pep Cereal give-away buttons. These buttons were released in post-war cereal boxes from 1945-47, and came in five sets of 18 buttons with a duplicate Superman button in each set. Characters featured include Blondie and Dagwood, Dick Tracy, Felix the Cat, Flash Gordon, Popeye, Little Orphan Annie, Superman, The Phantom, Wimpy, and dozens more popular cartoon characters of the time. Measuring 13/16” each, these buttons are in good to very good condition with scratching and scuffing to the surface of the buttons, as well as small areas of paint loss to the character image on approximately 15 buttons.
