German Banner or Flag - Ortsgruppe Eschweiler - 1930 - Rare banner of the Reich Association of former World War One POWs, the Reichsvereinigung ehemaliger Kriegsgefangener or REK. The item offered was the banner of the Ortsgruppe Eschweiler. The nationwide association was founded in 1919 and led by Bundesfuhrer Freiherr von Lersner. After the Nazi takeover in 1933 the Reichsvereinigung was incorporated into the Kyffhauserbund which then was the only official Nazi veterans organization. The size of this unique banner is 54 x 42 inches, including the tassels. As can be seen on the pictures, the condition is good with some mothing.
