Document - Ghetto in Zarnow - 1939 - Holocaust - This document is from a small ghetto in Zarnow. It deals with the approval of gifts in the form of drugs from the Jewish Social Self Committee. Some info about Jewish in Zarnow: After the Germans entered Zarnów in 1939, the persecution of the Jews began. Germany ordered community representatives to wear armbands with the Star of David. They were not allowed to leave the boundaries of the town. Chairman position was created by the Germans called the ”Judenrat”. Judenrat members were later murdered and buried in a mass grave in the Jewish cemetery in Opoczno. Condition Very good condition
