ORIGINAL 24 INCH WINGSPAN THIRD REICH PRESSED BRASS WALL EAGLE - Extremely rare Pressed brass Third Reich eagle, two known examples. This eagle is styled on the Deutsche Reichsbahn eagle, although it has a number of differences: It is constructed of hollow pressed brass. It has no bolts for mounting, one known example has a brass wire soldered for hanging and the one we’re offering does not. It is not believed this was attached to trains and was more likely used in an office/administration building setting on a desk or wall. It was produced in low numbers. The eagles head is a slightly different style to a normal Reichsbahn train eagle. The size is just under 24”, the weight is 14.8 oz.
