General toning and creasing throughout, with minor soiling in places. Overall very good- a rare pairing! Count Ilya Lvovich Tolstoy (1866-1933) was a Russian writer and the second son of Leo Tolstoy. Starting in 1916, Ilya would begin a tour of the United States in which he lectured on his father's life and works, later choosing to settle in Southbury, Connecticut following the Bolsheviks' rise to power in 1917.
