This set of original German signal flags is extremely hard to find in this condition with the original poles.Poles measure 22.5 inches long and the flags are about Flags 17.5 inches x 17 inchesThe flags were meant to signals messages with each letter represented by a specific position of the two flags. The Winkler alphabet is still used today, because it represents a relatively secure communication mode. Commonly used on ships.
