Prussian 11th Field Artillery Regiment NCO Tunic. - 1. Westpreußisches Fußartillerie-Regiment Nr.11 (West Prussian 11th Field Artillery Regiment) NCO Tunic.Tunic from the 1. Kurhessisches Feld-Artillerie-Regt. nr.11 (Cassel/Fritzlar) XI Armee Korps. Pre WW I tunic NCO. Our tunic is typical of most pre WW I West Prussian Artillerie tunics in that it is made of dark navy blue wool. The collar and the sleeveis black. Eight gilt-toned buttons run down the tunic’s center. The tunic sports red trim. An additional two gilt buttons adorn each sleeve. The shoulder straps are red, with a small gilt button attached to each one. The number of the Regiment and Artillerie’s traditional flaming bomb is displayed in yellow thread. The cotton liner inside the tunic is in fine condition. Preußische Schützenabzeichen 1. Stufe / Klasse wollene Schnur mit Granate für die Artillerie. (Prussian rifle badge 1st level / class woolen cord with grenade for the artillery.) This rifle cord was awarded to the qualified soldier, accompanied by a certificate. The rifle cord ran from the outside of the right shoulder to the second button on top. It was attached to a small horn button under the shoulder flap , to the uniform itself to the second button from the top.
