Original 3 Reich period propaganda postcard with a portrait of the Wehrmacht Field Marshal Erich von Manstein, one of the most reputed Nazi commanders during WW2. Postcard is war period hand signed "von Manstein. Feldmaschall"! On the reverse it's written "General field marshal of the South Army Group Erich von Manstein".Fritz Erich Georg Eduard von Manstein (24 November 1887 – 9 June 1973) was a German commander of the Wehrmacht, Nazi Germany's armed forces during the Second World War. He attained the rank of field marshal.
