Third Reich "Befreiungshalle Kelheim" 1/4 Liter Mug
Rare original 1933 "Befreiungshalle Kelheim" 1/4 liter mug depicting the monument that Bavarian king Ludwig I. commissioned to commemorate the victory over Napoleon in the Befreiungskrieg 1813-1815. Since the Nazis claimed that they 'liberated' Germany as well, they added their NSDAP eagle and the year 1933, at least to the mug - we don't know if that was on the actual monument too from 1933 to 1945. The mug is 4 inches tall, bottom measures 3-1/4 inch across. There is one small chip at bottom, no cracks or other defects. A rare artifact in very nice condition.
