Polish State Eagle 1918 Rare - State eagle made in 1918. One of the first official emblems produced after Poland regained independence. It was intended to be hanged in a ministry, state office or a higher-ranking office (in lesser offices and schools, printed eagles were usually hung). There is no and never had a crown, because it was made during the times of the Polish People's Republic, the prime minister of which was Ignacy Daszyński (not to be confused with the Polish People's Republic after the Second World War). It could still be used in 1919, until the appearance of the Polish state emblem was not established. Its establishment in 1919 ended the dispute over the crown on the eagle's head. Zamak casting, dimensions 47 x 46 cm, preserved in very good condition with the original coating of white and red varnish. On the reverse, there is a catch that allows you to hang the emblem on the wall. The use of zamak (zinc and aluminum alloy, Zn-Al), and not bronze or brass, is perfectly understandable in the conditions of the material crisis after the war.
