Early Variant. Up for sale is a nice dagger marked J.A.HENCKELS ZWILLINGSWERK SOLINGEN. Scabbard is nice of original anodized finish. The ball has taken a hit. All the patina is matching and the fits are as you expect to see on an early piece. The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed with a perfect fit. The throat fitting has engraved with the initials of the owner "FW". Lower crossguard is grippe stamped "OST"(Ostland). A great dagger to add to your collection.***THIS ITEM SHIPS FROM OUR EUROPE OFFICE***
