French Chassepot Bayonet with German Marks
French bayonet for Chassepot rifle model 1866 with scabbard and leather handle - total bayonet length: 694 mm, - blade length: 573 mm - blade width by handguard: 28 mm - blade thickness by handguard: 9 mm HITCH - condition: nice, with a few , dark spots. No French label number on the back. There are also no French technical control marks. The B mark and the German label in Weyersberg are located here. - handguard: slight dazzling of the surface. Visible serial number U 88528 the same as on the scabbard In addition, French technical inspection marks. POMMEL - brass with two steel rivets and an efficient spring. Scabbard Steel, without dents or other damage. It has the serial number U 88528.
