Silver ring with skull and snakes - Russian Empire.
Russian Empire. Silver ring with skull and snakes. Silver ring of Russian Empire period. Skull on the front plate and snakes on the ring band to the both sides. These rings were very popular among Russian Imperial Army troops. Marked with pre-revolutionary Russian mark ‘84’ for silver content and letters ‘AD’ or ‘AO’ for goldsmith, who made the ring, initials on the outside of the ring band. Worn condition with beautiful patina.
